From psychology student to lash lifting expert in just under 2 years, and now here we are together.
What started as a small side hustle quickly turned into a big business
I can hardly believe it myself!
Nowadays, I run my business full-time while still trying to manage my Master’s in Psychology.
I was tired of working alongside my psychology studies — constantly adjusting to work hours that didn’t suit me, and of course, not making much money.
So I needed a solution. I wanted to set my own schedule and earn more than the €520 I made at my mini-job.
After visiting a home studio for microblading, my plan was: open a small home studio for eyelash extensions.
It sounded like a way to have flexible hours and better income.
I started with eyelash extensions and then expanded my services to lash lifting to earn a living alongside my bachelor’s degree.
I started where you probably started — from zero, completely from scratch. And it wasn’t easy, as you well know. 😉
I was so excited about the flexible schedule and the beauty industry in general that I decided to take a training course in lash lifting.
Unfortunately, my excitement didn’t last long, because after the training, I had just as many questions as before.
I remember contacting two colleagues and asking tons of questions about pads, processing time, and solution application.
And today, where I stand, I know these wonderful colleagues who tried to help me actually had just as little knowledge about lash lifting as I did.
My lash lifts were anything but beautiful — sometimes good, sometimes not — and I knew this wasn’t acceptable in a business that clients pay for.
So I decided to invest in another training that cost me a lot of money! But that training changed my life.
The knowledge I gained was remarkable, and more importantly, the results I achieved were remarkable!
For fun, I started sharing free info about lash lifts on my old Instagram account — and other stylists loved it.
Soon after, I created a new Instagram account specifically for women who wanted to learn lash lifting properly — that’s how Lash Lift Education was born.
Some time later, I launched my first small online course — which, looking back, was quite basic compared to where we are now. But everyone has to start somewhere!
I wanted to make what I learned — the stuff so many raved about — accessible in Germany, because so many amazing stylists were struggling just like I was.
An online course was the best way to make this knowledge available to everyone.
I was tired of having to take yet another training after already completing two lash lifting courses, just to finally be able to create nicer lifts.
I was tired of people believing only live trainings could help. But I realized how helpful online courses can be — because you can learn at your own pace, anytime, anywhere, however you want. 🙂
And from that point on, things just kept growing — more courses, more knowledge, more experience.
Today, I’m one of the best-known lash lifting trainers in Germany, having trained over 500 incredible stylists — all because I didn’t give up and believed you can truly learn lash lifts and always achieve great results.
